11/2/2004
This day calculates out universally to a 19/1 day...a number often associated with what in Numerology is called KARMIC DEBT. The term is defined thusly: numerology presupposes that we are all reincarnated beings, trying lifetime after lifetime to make a better go of it. Sometimes we hit the ball out of the park, other times, we can't see the forest for the trees.
The Karma is the running balance of all the habits we've learned throughout our many lives. If we've wasted our gifts, inflicted pain on others or generally lived in a way that isn't in harmony with our destiny, the debt kicks in.
The 19/1 Karmic Debt, universally applied to tomorrow speaks to the necessity of remembering our interconnectedness. The core number, 1, of course is all about independence and assertion. 1's are not big lover's of playing team sports...they prefer the all or nothing approach to life. In and of itself, being an independent spirit is not bad...in fact it's an important survival skill. But when one drills down to see the double-digit 1 and 9, the picture becomes more nuanced and the call to caution more persistent.
Standing tall on one's own is an essential component of maturity. However, shutting oneself off from others simply in the name of wanting one's own way is potentially pathological. A 19/1 Karmic debt warns against the well known stubborness of the 1 pursuing a narrow path without heed to those around her or him; it's a sort of going it alone no matter what the cost.
Though we are encased in skin and bone, finite and separate from each other, our very existence depends on our acceptance of the needs of others and our ability to work in harmony with those self-same humans. On the US Election Day, let us keep this perspective in the forefront of all our important decisions.
Working with the energy of the 19/1, while understanding it's pitfalls helps us navigate all our new endeavors to greater effect in the long run and with less stress in the short run.

Seven's need their space...
A work related friend, someone we had started considering part of our family, our support system, has dumped us rather unceremoniously. I don't know what happened, but one day in September we were celebrating their birthday and now, a month later, barely ten words are shared in the elevator. It hurts to be rejected, more so when there is a long history. It's as if all the good things of the past, the happy times account for nothing...as if the memories we forged together have as much substance as fog drifting out to sea.
As a numerologist, I've been trying to be more Zen about it. After all our former friend is in the throes of a seven year. During a seven year, the need to protect and conserve one's emotional energy is strong. Really, seven year dwellers need to maintain a calm demeanor without. Most of their efforts need to go toward self-discovery and analysis. It is truly all about them.
As such, miscommunications abound during a personal seven year where people expect feedback and interaction that just can't be reciprocated...and perhaps that is what has happened with our friend. So, I'm going to cut this particular friend some slack and hope that the turning of the seasons brings a change of heart.

ONE (1)
Overarching trend for the year 2004:
You are a pioneer setting out for a new frontier.
Whatever you do, don't stifle changes, instead focus on taking advantage of opportunities presented. Special super powers of focus and determination fuel movement forward, don't discount this gift. There's apt to be some fallout as some sacred cows are sacrifieced, but life moves on...you have to move with it or you deny your growth.
Monthly vibration:
High level feedback tells you whether or not what you've started pursuing has a good payoff. Make adjustments and advancements. Be pragmatic, realistic, routing out the impractical---this includes people too. Money and career issues are especially emphasized although new, fruitful partnerships can spring up this month as well. Not a month to take unconvential risks or play out longshots.

TWO (2)
Overarching trend for the year 2004:
Take a step back, out of the limelight, the glare this year is too harsh. This is a year of slow and steady growth and covert promotion of your best interests. Relationships are highlighted and must be in harmony...cooperation your watchword. Opportunities to establish long-term partnerships are excellent. Press on with your goals and handle all conflicts with a deft hand and sensitive heart. Have faith. You may be in the backseat, but it will benefit you in the long run.
Monthly vibration:
Hold on, bumpy ride ahead. July is an emotional roller coaster as you enter a testing period, relationship-wise. You'll be challenged to see the truth of a myriad of emotional connections of all kinds and be pressed to make some decisions. With the right amount of compassion and concentration, you'll navigate these sensitive waters with the patience of Job and the fair-mindedness of Solomon. Don't despair if certain endings are bittersweet, it's just the way life sometimes is...and the trials suffered will make you stronger. Pace yourself and seek balance.

THREE (3)
Overarching trend for the year 2004:
A time to experience the joys and merriment of life. A time to view life in the affirmative. The lure of simply smelling the flowers can be overwhelming and shouldn't be missed. However, appropriate care to work and responsibilities are necessary. Look for opportunities to turn an avid avocation into a vocation with carefully directed efforts. Your charisma and communication skills are radiant and you find your creativity is enhanced. Use these skills to sell yourself!
Monthly vibration:
The crack of pizzaz is palpable. You're an original, riding high. Your creativity shines, and if you stay positive you can take on any challenge! There is literally no aspect of your life that can't be enlivened by the spirit of fearlessness. New careers could be in your future and new relationships beckon. However, romantic forms of the latter while fiery may be short-lived. Guard against hubris!

FOUR (4)
Overarching trend for the year 2004:
A very concrete, get down to business year. Enjoy the minutia, revel in it. Devote yourself completely to your objectives. Fulfill your obligations. You are building a literal and figurative foundation for the future. Realize that a foundation though is best boundaried by four walls that exclude certain potentials. Next year you'll have time to consider many other options...but for now, concentrate rather specifically on practical fundamentals (which highlight career and home issues). Much energy will need to be expended but you'll enjoy a great sense of accomplishment as you reach each goal.
Monthly vibration:
Work and business relationships mandate that you play the part of mediator or confidant. As the "Go-To" Guy or Gal, you'll feel a bit overwhelmed considering your other responsibilities but such attention in the work realm now goes a long way toward future successes. Recharge by spending time listening to music or stealing a quick get-a-way in the forest, mountains or by the ocean. Smart exercise and diet choices help too.

FIVE (5)
Overarching trend for the year 2004:
Calcuated risks are your best bet this year. Your Luck Quotient (defined as being in the right place at the right time and acting on these opportunities) is high but to make the most of it, you'll have to be willing to respond rapidly, and let go of old notions. You are encouraged to forgo the 'sure thing' in favor of unexpected adventures. This doesn't give you carte blance to act without reason just because you can can so use a little discretion. You have every opportunity to get too wild so monitor your cravings.
Monthly vibration:
You may feel unable to sit still on this vibration, the temptation to fritter away your time, energy and resources is a hard urge to resist. Change becomes your ultimate organizing principle and while this helps raise your profile at work or in your circle of acquaintances, may make you flaky too. Great month to take off time for a fun diversion away from cares. There is a special need to pay close attention to debts as these can quickly get out of hand.

SIX (6)
Overarching trend for the year 2004:
When it comes to family & home your name is always first on the duty roster this year. You feel pulled to accept responsibility, obligations of those less able. They seek you out and lay their burdens at your feet. It's your task to help to find the right path. Also a year of great beauty and the possibility of financial advancement. Lots of challenges, but lots of rewards.
Monthly vibration:
This is a serious month...one where you'll be asked to shoulder rather heavy obligations. If you don't, then no one will...it's all you. So, take charge by following the rules, getting what you need to get accomplished done. Most likely there are some very important people (family, friends, community members) depending on you to make smart, practical choices. Step up to the plate.

SEVEN (7)
Overarching trend for the year 2004:
You seek the solace and comfort of solitude this year. You are highly tuned to your own thoughts and needs, sometimes to the exclusion of others.
Watch with amazement as external responsibilities seem to be on autopilot. Above all go with the flow, weather any turbulence or unexpected events with poise and composure. A year to gain significant insight into yourself and strengthen the mental/spiritual foundations. Relax and calm your mind. Keep an eye on your health/well-being. Note that this is not a year to strive toward material goals.
Monthly vibration:
Be bendy like Gumby...a fixed thought process will be especially counter-productive. Cultivate beginner's mind, accepting new information as it makes its way into your consciousness. Surprising changes brilliantly test your mettle, but let them have their place. See how challenging old limiting beliefs can deepen your understanding of yourself and others. Release your need to control outcomes; if circumstances push toward change, let them. You may feel scattered and anxious but make an effort to at least minimally attend to your external obligations. Travel is a possibility.

***
EIGHT (8)
Overarching trend for the year 2004:
Introspection experienced last year ends.
Career/money issues spring into focus.
It's a year of reckoning... a 12 month harvest festival
This year's rewards keyed to your past efforts.
Monthly vibration:
Domestic issues (home, family, finances) pull up to center stage. Foot in mouth disease is a definite possibility due to your desire to c-o-n-t-r-o-l all outcomes. Others may not reckon your timetable to be the best...so you'll have to deal. Try to imbue all your encounters with a level of finesse that may not come naturally. Chance circumstances may come up that may affect your residence/living situation. You may find travel a possibility later in the month.
***
***
NINE (9)
Overarching trend for the year 2004:
It's out with the old to make ready for the new next year.
There is a special emphasis on helping/healing others. It's the 12 months just before the quickening...you are ushering in end of an epicycle begun in 1996. Find ways to be creative/communicative. Use these skills to break down barriers...you know what/where they are!
Monthly vibration:
It's a time of intense introspection and intuition. You may be surprised what you find digging deep down into that psyche. A certain amount of apprehensiveness is normal...after all you've got some significant decisions to make. But your anxiety is mixed with anticipation too...change is nigh. Trust your gut for the best recourse. Money & work are not high on the radar unless they relate to a higher calling.

Who reads horoscopes or in this case numeroscopes?
As a numerologist and past-astrology freak I wondered why do we pay heed to
them?
Is it truth or is it self-fulfilling prophesy? Do our lives run better
when we believe there is a plan...a discernable map? What is the
psychology of prognostication?
Life is such a crapshoot...we all want to skip to the end (or at least the
middle) to find out what's going to happen next. Controling or at least
choosing our own destiny has a fragrant allure. There are litereally
hundreds of books published each year that deal chiefly with future
forecasting, fortune telling or other forms of prognostication. Everything
from throwing sticks and coins to reading tea leaves, adding and
subtracting numbers or interpreting ancient cryptic texts is presented to
the masses for consumption. We are clamouring to get an edge on life. And
who wouldn't want that leg up? Especially in these frightening times?
After years and years of being a numerologist, I know that spot-on
predictions are the stuff of dreams. Every one has free will, everyone
makes their life up as they go along, step-by-step. But as we start to
survey where we've come from, it's clear, in hind-sight that there are
patterns, signposts and trends leading in one direction or the other.
Sometimes, just through good 'old human intuition we get a sense of where
things are going; other times that path is rather unclear. Numerology, via
it's highly accessible, easy to grasp systems, helps augment that natural
knowing. Like I said before, it's a tool for living..it's not a magic
wand.
Numerology is a tool for daily living.
Numerology is the ancient art of interpreting the vibrations and energies
associated with numbers. This highly accessible mystic discipline can
reveal the subtleties of our character, personality, and experience.
Through progressed numerology, one may chart the metaphorical signposts
that describe the terrain of our everyday lives.
The use of cycles to reflect the universal ebb and flow of life are central
to Numerology. As with many esoteric traditions, each one of us passes
through a series of encounters structured to build character, introduce
knowledge and evoke maturity born of experimentation and experience,
inference and deduction, intuition and reason. Every twelve months we all
travel through a new personal year, numbered one through nine. Each
personal year features events that bring us closer to mastering our
quixotic impulses, foibles, and gifts.

How it Works
numeroscopes are based on your current birthday
add the individual digits of your birth day to your birth month
(i.e. Oct 12 = 10 + 12 = 22)
add 6 to that total
(i.e. 22 + 5 = 27)
reduce this total to a single number by adding together the digits
(i.e. 27 --> 2 + 5 = 7)
this is your numeroscope number for 2004
